2006 850 dies on idle

Went by the manual, 0.10 in and 0.15 out. Will do balance soon

I know it's a little late but I bought a 1997 Ducati 900ss it had sat for 12 years but in nice shape.After all the prep I got it running well but, it would run great till I hit 5000 rpm then lost steam,it turned out the guy before me cut open airbox lid and that turned be the culprit,I bought a new lid with the two snorkels intact .It was Like night and day difference,the bike runs beautifully right up to the 9000 rpm redline.
