Word of warning for all pre 2012 8V owners.

Just a heads up for those of you with the early type rockers that use the slotted adjusters rather than 3mm hex adjusters with a coarser thread pitch.

The early adjusters are now NLA meaning if you break one your only option will be to find some second hand or swap to the later type rockers and adjusters which would be very expensive!

So don't over torque the lock nuts and damage the adjusters or you'll be in real strife.

Thanks for the heads up Pete, as the GRiSO is a keeper and I am bound to make a cock up some day (now that hey are extinct) do you have any leads as to where a spare adjuster or two and locking nuts could be purchased?

UPDATE, I just found some on the “moto italic.it” site and ordered a couple of adjusters and nuts (approx €22 per adjuster and they sell minimum of 10 nuts for approx €11) the stingy part is over €30 for shipping, but I prefer to have them in stock just in case

Just got word that the order from moto italic.it has been cancelled, no explanation so I presume they were not in stock when their website indicated they had loads.
