I don't do facebook, and every hit in my search was exactly that.

But, I believe a pic of this bike was posted a while back under "Things That Make You Go Hmmm" I really like the color, and would buy a set of that bodywork for a semi-reasonable price.

The pictures are from the Facebook post, you ain't missing much.

"Specs:

- the green colour is given from a carbon/amyroid hybrid fabric where the thyme is green in colour.

- flanks and codon made entirely of carbon and epoxy resin with a surface layer of hybrid fabric

- tank made with a skinning technique stitched by me where the hybrid fabric has been applied to an original tank in ABS

- headboard and fender made of traditional skinning on fiberglass bases

- all finished with clear anti UV gloss"

Maybe I'm the odd man out here, but honestly, I don't dig the whole carbon fiber look.

Same here, thus my qualifier of liking the color. That said, most of that bike is very well executed, body-wise. I was hoping they had gone into production on a replacement pieces so we could ditch the crappy MG plastic.

That body, in Mr. Roper's yellow, would be oh so tasty.

The good thing about wrapping is that it can repair or reinforce plastic parts.
If I were only looking to repair or reinforce a part I would use epoxy resin and glassfibre cloth.
The carbon twill is very thin as is the glass cloth so no weight difference.
The carbon is built up with layers of clear. For a painted surface you'd just use normal paint procedures over the epoxy and glass cloth instead.
