Experiences/tips/tricks of pulling exhaust studs?

30k service is due and just waiting on someone to have the exhaust gaskets. MGCycle says they do so also got the stud kit because mine were pretty bad last time I had the pipes off.

For those of you who have pulled the corroded ones what was your experience? Any tips or tricks to make the experience better if so? The only time I ever did this before was on an ancient car and two snapped, etc, nightmare. So anything I can do to avoid that on the GRiSO I am willing to do.

Take two nuts and thread them onto the stud and lock them tightly together and then use a wrench in the one close set to the cylinder and turn the nuts and stud out. If it won’t budge get some penetrating oil and spray on the stud at the cylinder and let it sit a hour and then try. I just replaced mine with Ti studs
