I've got a set of spoke wheels I have no use for. And a set of Tenni bodywork,(Except the front mudguard.) if anyone is interested?
I wanted spoke wheels at first. Then when I got them it was a disappointment. Also the GRiSO is a quasi-modern motorbike. It doesn't need mid twentieth century wheels.
As Janie's says though. Horses for courses and personal choice.

Hmmm , wheels from the mid-20th century are a topic for discussion, because decent machines, even modern ones, have beautiful spoked wheels installed, even motorcycles stylized as classic ones, i.e. pretending to be classics .As for the Tenni body, I would gladly buy a second one as a spare, because I am most delighted with this painting, as well as the spokes, but I am fed up with dealing with foreign shipments and customs duties, which are taken away from every penny is human. Trade on your own continent, yes, but shipping to Europe means shipping costs often exceed the value of the products

I wanted to replace my spoke wheels with PVM 5Y wheels, yeah the GRiSO will never be a Tuono but the light weight and easy cleaning would have been very welcome. And FWIW I prefer the looks.
DÄS stopped selling them unfortunately, so I'm learning to let go and embrace the spokes. They're heavy and take more time to balance than a good set of forged wheels, though no significant leaks yet (2017, so maybe I have a few years left before that issue surfaces).

As far as the spoke wheels leaking goes, I changed out a set of tires on a friends Stelvio a few weeks ago. He had been experiencing some leakage, dropping 4-5 PSI a week at the rear wheel. He brought along some type of rim tape. It was pretty gummy and thick, maybe 2-3mm, sticky on both sides. We trimmed it for width to fit the drop center of the rims. Gave the spokes a tap test, none loose. He is reporting no pressure loss after two weeks.
I'm thinking its a pretty generic product but can ask him if anyone is interested.

3M4411 tape works wonders to seal spoked wheels, using this for years for dirt bikes.
