Here some impressions from my current project.
Selfmade Headlight Housing, because i cant stand this plastic-stuff anymore.

Not sure if it will work, but its worth a try!

Starting basis is a 4€ bowl from Ikea and no, i am not kidding ;-)

195mm, it fits like a dream and is quite massive with 1,5 mm thickness.

Here the comparison to the original one.
As you can see, the lamp fits already in Smile

I welded some mounting points and it fits to my GRiSO as well  Smile

Today i will try the build the last slide, really curious if it works.

Hope you enjoy this thread!

I have had my bike off the road for a month making several modifications and detailing the bike. I wanted to fit a 7" Hella H4 insert and went looking for a headlight bucket with the correct bolt spacing and came up with this shorty housing. it is only 4mm narrower than the standard bucket, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , because the housing was shallow it would not let me fit the globe into the insert, I bored a 60mm hole in the back of the light and used a 60mm PVC pressure pipe cap, machined the angle to the profile of the headlight and used 4 small stainless steel screws to attached it from the inside, painted the  cap gloss black and this is the result. Your light looks like a good job.
