Hey all,

Anyone have any experience replacing your rear turn signals with LEDs? I am messing around with the back end and wanting to clean things up a bit.

Specifically, has anyone used the kit available from Guzzitech? Any other options I should consider?

That system comes with resistors for your indicators so no problem.
If you were using your stock indicators as well, leave the resistors out.

Do me a favour, measure your number plate size, and also the distance between the screw holes.
If it fits our Australian plate size I may consider one.

Hey AOAM,

I have updated both sets of indicators with LEDS, not from GT but from Custom Dynamics.

Front - True Wrapz

Rear - LED Tag bolts

Pics are in this forum :https://www.grisoghetto.com/t1276-your-GRiSO-mods-and-why-you-added-them

While I did order load equalizing resistors, turns out I didn't need them! Pleasent surprise. Both sets work fine and I get no errors on the dash.

Excellent customer service at CD and shipping was really quick, NC USA to BC Canada in 5 days.

Good luck!

Thanks GrisoGhost. Do you only use the tag bolts for your turn signal? How bright is that one led? I like the look and am considering it but am worried it won't be sufficiently bright.

Ghezzi - I'll measure my plate and holes once I get home (I don't yet have the part) I suspect it is meant to fit the standard American motorcycle license plate.

They are very bright, I'll upload a vid later today.

I originally was going to use them just to augment my original indicators but these bolts were actually brighter so....off came the old ones.

A video would be great. I called Custom Dynamics today but they couldn't offer what load equalizer/ stabilizer to use.

Sorry man no video, I hate messing around with youtube!

Hopefully this pic does them justice.  "are they bright enough?" is the first question everyone asks me who sees them on the bike. I always flip them on and the reaction is always "whoa..those are bright"

The equalizers I ordered (but didnt need to use) were the universal metric ones. {Universal 7.5 Ohm  Metric Turn Signal  Load Equalizer w/ connectors}

I also used CD positap connectors, they are really easy to use, makes hooking up the electronics a breeze.

I can post the actual part number for the equalizers later for you, but like I said, I didn't need to use them.

Looks bright enough. I appreciate the photo and added info as to what to buy. I plan to use the quick connectors too. Part of my situation is to provide quick removal of my stucchi rack and back seat rest my wife. Elininating the stock blinkers will make it so much easier.
