Sump Bolts

Can anyone tell me whats behind these?
Can I just undo them without some spring or other popping out or coming loose inside?
Will oil issue forth?
They look decidely nicer on this SE than on mine some some f*cker has painted them black, probably me

Don't unscrew them. Oil and unicorns will piss out. Your GRiSO won't ever run again.

They are plugs for galleries in the sump spacer that are a hangover from the pushrod models.

Also used to feed the oil cooler on said 2V dungers - I know because mine are plumbed into said oil cooler!

They look much better fitted there than tucked in behind the cooler

It's a completely different system on the 2V motor. Only one oil pump and a thermostat.

Believe I read that somewhere, plastic oil pumps and no thermostat, one for cooling one for the motor.
Surely a cooler as big as the GRiSO one needs a thermostat otherwise oil is cooling before its even warmd up.
Believe I also read that in the UK this means the oil rarely gets up to temp but that it was not detrimental.

Am not without some knowledge though often its ungrounded so test to better understand.

I actually thought you were ignoring my posts after the oil catch can and head breather fiasco.
I had to challenge that to better understand, have never encountered a closed loop system.
I still dont like the idea of the goop/water and oil residue being transferred to the sump.
Am new here I don't know what irks who and what people do or do not like.
Probably why I get banned or kicked from so many groups, am about as PC as a breeze block.
I couldnt be a carer for me 96 year old mum because instead of asking her to get off the floor and slowly assist I scooped her up in my arms and sat her back down again.
