What part of the suspension linkage was actually failing.How can you tell if a bike has updated part.

The part the bottom of the shock bolts to.

In Oz if the recall has been carried out there should be a sticker affixed to the frame advertising the fact.

Really though it's only a $200AU part. If you aren't sure? Just swap it out.

Also if you have never removed it and greased it properly it'll be fucked by now anyway.
