TPS questions

I’ve had my 2014 since new and it’s always run great. Thanks to this site I’ve been taught how to do some things.
So, two days ago with the bike cold I checked the TPS with guzzidiag. It showed 4.7 so I did a reset and it went to 4.8, cool. Just like it should be. I rode 200 miles yesterday. Today I checked it before I was going to check my throttle body setting. Showed 5.0 the bike was cold. I did a reset 4.8 and then started the bike and sync’d the TB’s.
Now the bike is warm from running it. Checked it again 4.7 did a reset again. 4.8
Is this normal?

Was copying a post from the TB balancing post, disregard.

Yes. No. Sometimes.

Try opening the throttle and let it close by itself immediately before the reset. You will also note that with GuzziDiag connected, at idle, it will read 5.0-5.1.


Don't get hung up on it. It's not worth stressing over.
