Was practicing for Alaska, I had rain gear, tools, pump , puss pad, tire repair, 3 days of clothes, even tried my 6 man tent, camp stove, chair, ground cover.

Great stuff - c’mon folks share your GRiSO archives - I’m sure we all wanna see it and mutual good vibes are good for the grey matter upstairs too!

Welcome to my part of the country. We do have some great roads around here even if I do have to ride a couple hours to get to them. However now a couple of my favorite rads are shut down due to 114,000 acre brush fire that is less than 5% contained. So be advised anyone planning a trip west of 191 like Rt60 and Rt 87 are shut down until the fires are contained

Before I saw the "explanation" for your Moto-Clydesdale, I just stared at the details ... and resolved that I'd stick to "motel camping."
Thanks for all the pix.

Come on Bill, I could have survived for a month with all the crap! Lol Nothing like a good steak with some fried potatoes and your favorite beverage after a day of blasting turns! Needed that kitchen sink!

It can be a long way to a motel on the way, and in Alaska. And campgrounds too. When we went in 2014, we took a toy hauler/camper, and stayed in gravel pull-offs many nights. Motels up there often are over $200/night.

That's what I have heard Rick, that's why I practiced hauling a big zero degree bag. In case of rain and cold, if you have it you can use it. If you don't your testicles turn blue...
