Electrical Gremlin struck

Attempted to ride 130miles to St Augustine but didn't get far 20 miles on I-95 ignition cut out and got the dreaded ECU disconnect symbol and no start . I tapped the relays and got it to run to the next exit seemed to run for a few miles till it quit entirely about another 20. Found the big relay to be the problem if I touched it it would throw the code so I pulled it and cleaned terminals and rode home instead without any hint of trouble other than that I cracked the tail section when spreading it for access but I have a solution for that
